Best place to shoot. Think Ive only had one rough experience where a rangemaster got a smidge heated at me for trying to work the stubborn Mosin bolt closed on a barrel flag after people had gone ahead down range many years ago, but in all fairness, I thank the man for being cautious because just assuming someone was having a finnicky bolt experience could lead to a deadly accident if a younger fellow (as I was) was chambering a rifle while people were down range. Aside from that, the staff has always been polite and very relaxed about people just having a good fun day at the range, and they have never been imposing or intimidating. Unlike other ranges, on an unbusy day, they do not rush you out if you go a smidge over the time you paid for. Now if its a busy day, dont be surprised if ya get funnelled out, but thats just good business. Tl;dr, Great range, great staff, and a major focus on all-around saftey without being overbearing or "Nazis" about anything. ~ Zachary T

This is a nice range and store. I've used the pistol range and the rifle range. The pistol range has automated target retrieval, which makes it easy to send your targets down range to your desired distance and retrieve them when you're done shooting. There are multiple shooting stations that have partitions between them. The rifle range has berms set up at 50, 100, and 200 yards. The bench is covered just like the pistol range. Safety is their first priority. Everyone receives instructions inside the store and is given chamber flags and a flashing light so everyone can see the status of the guns on the range. The price to come and shoot is $20 for 2 hours. The store has ammo, targets, staple guns, and hearing and eye protection. The store also has a good selection of various firearms and equipment for sale. With the opening of highway 158, the range is only about 20 minutes away from Saraland. This is my favorite range because of its convenient location, safety, and friendly and helpful staff. ~ Leland P

This is the finest outdoor range I've ever been to. If you want a range that has; good polite people, and excellent gun and ammo pricing and a fun safe experience this is the place for you. The rifle range looks small, but actually is spread out long ways based on distance. The pistol range is outdoor but has motorized targets which is very convenient. Best of all there is a section of the range that you can safely practice your CCW skills. ~ Casey J

This place is everything I want in a range. A responsible/safe atmosphere while being relaxed. Motorized pistol target range under shade is great. Shaded rifle range is nice too. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Could use more trash cans in some areas but no real issue. Shooters here have been very cool and safety oriented in my many experiences here. Would suffer the heat or cold to come out here versus anything indoor. ~ Rebel4life18

Wonderful gun range. They are setup nicely for rifles and pistols. I do wish they allowed shotguns to be fired at paper targets on the rifle range. The inventory they have inside the store is an amazing selection and the people there are always friendly. I have taken my family here for a few years now. ~ Russell S

After going to Bullz-I for the first time I was highly impressed with the level of service I received! I couldn't recommend this range/store more. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable while helping me and the range had all of the comforts I could ask for. The owner, Manley, went out of his way to help me with an unexpected issue I was having with my gun. While I was there I saw several other customers receive this same level of service. Not only is the store well stocked but every type of gun enthusiast can find something to their liking! Another poster commented with complaints and instructions to buy at another store... My only question is does that store have TWO gunsmiths (A master and an apprentice) to address any problem you may have with the weapon you purchase a few years down the line? Probably NOT! Bullz-I Does! They may not be the cheapest, but that is why Academy Sports exists ( to sell cheaper, inferior products). I can only imagine that any idiot who walks into this store with a chip on his shoulder and acted like an fool was quickly dismissed in favor of other customers who actually wanted good service. The gentleman who runs this and gun shop was great. He helped my daughter with answers to her questions about certain guns she was wanting to buy. Good place to go for your guns and ammo also answers to your questions. ~ Theresa G

Fantastic range!!! As a first timer at the range the staff was very helpful in guiding me! Also midway through my time there a staff member came outside just to give me tips and see how my progress was going! I won’t go to another range!! 10/10 ~ Shelby E

Omg this is the 1 place I would continue to come to is very affordable and very quick in and out system and lots and lots of space. I would come more often if I had the time. I believe range fee is $6 on sundays. ~ john N

Gun ranges for target shooting one for side by side, and one for long range with metal plates, and all sorts of target types to shoot. Inside is a large selection of firearms, ammo and survival gear. ~ Justin B
